Their full-service marina has a supply of watercraft including pontoon and fishing boats available for day rentals. If you came with your own boat, then feel free to pull up to one of two public boat ramps available.

If boating isn't your speed, then check out the canoes and kayaks available for rent at the marina.

Last, you can create a memorable day on the shore with a swimming day at Pickwick Landing. There are three public swimming beaches available for use in the park.

Hiking and Events

For land-lovers, there are plenty of activities to keep you busy at Pickwick Landing. Bring your clubs and tee off for a round of golf at the Pickwick Landing State Park Golf Course.  Ever tried disc golf? If not, then now is your chance at Pickwick's fun disc golf course overlooking the lake.

Save some time in your day to set out on a nature walk on one of Pickwick's two hiking trails that are easy enough for all ages. It's a day in lush surroundings that will refresh and re-energize you.

We usually just go for the day but we always have a great time. Kids absolutely love it there! Great place to have the "beach experience" without the long drive. It's always clean when we have gone and has bathrooms located close by for convenience. They have a few picnic tables that have grills next to them for those wanting to grill out. Go early if you want a table spot, though bc each time we have ever been there tends to be quite a few people there....most with their families and kids. I would definitely recommend this place for a fun, relaxed mini getaway!
